Inspiration for this set comes from two main sources. The rain, of course, and brutalist/oppressive architecture and the dramatic role it plays in how we interpret and reflect. The stark presence of raw or bare material making up the world we live in. From buildings to bridges to the streetlights that are always watching us. I have always felt like props stand out as monoliths when we find ourselves engulfed by the cool overcast air, thinking about a memory, a loved one, or the uncertainty of the future. For many of us, the rain has a strong influence on how we think and feel.
GMK Rainy Day is a ABS Keycap Set for mechanical keyboards of all sorts. GMK Rainy Day comes with 4 kits, Base Kit , Sidewalks, Hangul and Petrichor. The set includes ISO keys in the Base Kit, and the Novelty Kit is clean, simple and cheap compared to competitor sets. The colors are picked by pantone for most accurate color-matching. The kit is one of cleanest, most minimal sets that have been hosted on CandyKeys until this date.

GMK Electronic Design is a manufacturing of original Cherry MX keycaps based in south Germany, right next to CandyKeys. GMK manufactures keycaps using original Cherry MX Molding Tooling bought from Cherry in 2011. All keycaps are manufactured from thick, high quality ABS Plastic and are made sure to carry perfect smooth texture and lasting design.
