This set draws inspiration from a pre-pandemic excursion to Taiwan where we were enraptured by arguably its most widely recognised dessert, the Taiwanese Pineapple Cake (鳳梨酥 fèng lí sū; 王梨酥 ông lâi so). Fenglisu are delicate little treats with a crumbly pastry exterior that are filled with a sweet pineapple jam. In the Hokkien dialect, ‘pineapple’ (鳳梨 ông-lâi) is a homophone for the phrase ‘prosperity come’ (旺來 ōng-lâi). As a symbol of good fortune and prosperity, we wanted to pay homage to this culinary icon in the form of a GMK keycap set.
GMK Fenglisu is a sweet kit with 4 different kits available to fit your liking. While there is no NORDEUK support, there is UK support and also a Cangjie Sub-Legend Kit which allows this set to be modified extensively. A novelty kit with full macrocolumn and Tsangan support is available, A complete alphanumeric alphas kit with Cangjie Chinese sublegends with the inclusion of an additional tab key is also available.

We are aware that pricing is a large contributing factor to whether or not a given GMK set is purchased and that this set does err on the more expensive side; however, given the recent struggles with sets reaching MOQs, we’ve had to adjust accordingly to increase our chances of a successful Group Buy.

GMK manufactures keycaps using original Cherry MX Molding Tooling bought from Cherry in 2011. All keycaps are manufactured from thick, high quality ABS Plastic and are made sure to carry perfect smooth texture and lasting design.
